Do you do the Walks daily?
We offer our walking tours daily but we conduct the tours only on those days for which we have received a prior tour booking so to ensure your chosen tour on your chosen date kindly make a prior reservation at least 24 hours before the tour date in order to join us for the walking tour, In case you need to make an urgent booking kindly call us at +91-9582630406 instead of sending us a mail. Kindly see the individual walking tour page to know the exact timings and other details.
Do I need to make a prior reservation for the walking tours?
Yes. As we work hard to maintain a high quality for our walking tours, each tour has a limited number of seats. To ensure a hassle free tour experience and to ensure your tour reservation prior booking for each of the walking tours is mandatory. You can book the tour online by submitting the booking form on our website or by emailing us on email@example.com or by calling or by sending us a sms with name, number of people, name of tour requested and date
In your Free Tours why does a group of 6 or more need to book a private walk?
With bigger groups in the past we have experienced that sometimes even though they have made a booking they have not come for the tour or have cancelled at the last hour hence now we follow this strict policy for our free tours that a group of 6 or more need to book a private walk and the complete details for this can be found HERE
In which language are the tours conducted?
All our tours are currently conducted in the English Language.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Cancellation Policy for Free Tours:
As we offer all our walking tours with a limited number of seats to ensure the best quality we request you to inform us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start of the walking tour so that the cancelled seats can be offered to other interested participants.
Cancellation Policy for Premium Tours:
Walks 2 Remember offers Full Refund in case the guests cancel the tour before 48 hours of the scheduled start of the tour. If the cancellation is made within 24-48 hours before the scheduled departure of the tour the guests will be entitled to 50% refund. In case the booking is cancelled in less than 24 hours or the guests do not show up for the tour no refund will be provided by Walks 2 Remember. All cancellation needs to be made via email and a return confirmation mail by Walks 2 Remember is necessary for the completion of the cancellation process. In case a tour is cancelled by Walks 2 Remember due to weather or any other unforeseen reasons etc. the guests will be offered a free reschedule for another date and if the reschedule is not possible then the guests will receive a Full Refund.
What happens if we reach late for the tour?
For the convenience of all attendees we ensure that our walking tours start on time. We highly recommend that you reach the starting location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled starting time for the tour. Please do ensure you reach on time. Our booking confirmation always lists the name and contact number of the guide in case you are delayed due to any reason kindly contact your tour guide in time in order to avoid cancellation of your allotted tour seat.
I booked a walk with you but I am unable to attend it, can my friend attend the tour in my place?
Yes your friend is more than welcome to attend the walk but kindly inform us before hand.
Do you allow Walk in Guests?
We do offer our walks daily but conduct them only when we have already received a prior tour booking for that particular date thus having walk in guests is not always possible, but in case you are there in the area from where we begin our tours and you see us doing a group walk and you would like to join it then you can speak to the guide available there and join the tour in case there are still seats available.
Does the tour ever get cancelled due to bad weather or any unforeseen circumstances?
We conduct our tours irrespective of the weather conditions. But in case of extreme weather conditions or due to any unforeseen circumstance Walks 2 Remember might postpone or cancel a tour. Kindly carry your rain gear on rainy days, our guides work hard to make sure that even in difficult weather the walking tours are as comfortable as possible for all the attendees.
How will I recognize my Tour guide?
When we send our booking confirmation it contains our guide details like there name and contact number, though its always easy to spot them at the meeting point in case there is any confusion you can always call them and find each other.
Can I bring children for the walk?
Children brighten our day so of course they are welcome on the walk but the responsibility of any minors on the tour lies with their guardians. I am single person can I still book a private walk?
Yes a single person can also book a private walk, kindly mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org to know the price and other details.
What to wear?
It actually differs from area to area. Each of our walking tour page has a section with suggestions on what to wear for that particular tour so kindly refer tour page of your choice to know more.
Do I need to carry any beverage for the tour?
Yes kindly carry plenty of water for the tour.
